Founder & Head of School
Welcome to Talk and Do Academy, where we empower the next generation to learn, create, and succeed!
I am Timothy Otobong, a passionate educator with a vision to make quality STEM education accessible to all. With a strong foundation in Geophysics, Computer Science, and Education, I am committed to inspiring young minds and fostering a love for learning.
As a holder of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, England) and TRCN (Nigeria), I bring expertise and dedication to my teaching practice. My academic background includes:
– BSc Geophysics (Second Class Lower)
– ND Computer Science (Second Class Upper Division)
– PGD in Education (Second Class Upper) in Science Education
I am a proud single father of two amazing boys, Dunamis Otobong Paul and Godswill Otobong Paul, and I am blessed to be their father.

My Journey as a Physics Teacher
An outstanding, well-qualified, enthusiastic, and highly motivated secondary science class teacher with physics specialism, and Head of Physics with over 13 years of excellent subject knowledge and a classroom practitioner. Currently a founder of Talk and Do Physics in the classroom and beyond classroom, serving as the Principal Master I with the State Secondary Education Board (SSEB). Having the knowledge of the National Curriculum in line with UK-based practice is required at key stages (3-5) to deliver engaging and inspiring lesson plans to students aged 10-16.
A holder of sound demographic credentials along with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from England (TRN: 2263883), dated October 25th, 2023, and certified teacher, Teacher Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN: AK/S/09643).
My expertise focused on leading and growing physics, curriculum development, lesson planning, laboratory management, pedagogy, communication, adaptability, assessment technique, and technology integration that enhanced learning through the school and prepared students for the GCSE and A-Level Physics Examination.
